❤️ Boots is Available ❤️

Please READ the bio and adoption requirements first to make sure you are a perfect fit BEFORE APPLYING.

Hello, my name is Boots! I'm a 55 lb handsome fella found as a stray, and the vet thinks I'm a year-old Poodle mix.

I was living on the streets, where life was ruff, but some nice people found me and boy did I have a glow up! I was matted when found, but now I have lovely curls and enjoy getting brushed regularly. You wouldn't know I had a rough start by how well I behave. I'm a calm, sweet boy with nice manners. You don't have to worry about me digging, chewing, or jumping on you. And once I know what you want me to do or not do, I'm happy to oblige! I'd like to join you on the couch or bed, but will get down if you ask me to. I'm curious, looove walks, and greet new friends politely. I'm learning how to play with toys, and I've enjoyed the play dates my foster mom sets up with the neighborhood dogs. But what I love most is being close to my people, and I always hope my gentle nose boops result in being pet.

I'm a flexible pup, and will sleep in or get up early with you. I do my business outside, eat breakfast, and then join you. Are you working or lounging at home? I'll lounge with you! I'll probably follow you around the house and alternate napping, being loved on, and going outside. Are you going out to new places and adventures? Count me in! I have my dinner and go to bed when you do, and will go on my own into my crate to sleep. Sometimes I get hot, and because I'm a good boy, my foster mom lets me sleep on the tile if I want.

One thing I don't like is being left alone. I'll go in my crate when you have to leave, but I can't get settled and bark because of my separation anxiety. My foster mom is working on getting me used to small doses of crate time, and I'll need my new family to do the same.
