Hi, I’m Blaire! I’m a 6-year-old, 43-pound black Poodle mix with a gentle soul and a heart that’s happiest when I’m close to the people I love. I’m a calm, easygoing girl who doesn’t need much to be happy—give me a loving family, a cozy place to relax, and someone to follow around, and I’m pretty content with life.

I absolutely adore my foster dog and cat siblings and love being part of the family. Whether we’re relaxing around the house, heading out for a leisurely stroll, or simply spending a quiet afternoon together, I’m happiest knowing my people are nearby. I’m incredibly loyal and would gladly accept the position of your full-time shadow.

I don’t currently live with children, but I’ve spent time around my foster family’s nieces and nephews on the weekends and have been very calm with them. My naturally gentle personality tends to carry over wherever I go, and I’m much more interested in quietly hanging out with everyone than being in the middle of the action.

Now, I may be past the puppy stage, but I do have one thing that brings out my youthful enthusiasm: my morning DentaStix. Apparently, treats are where I draw the line on being completely dignified. When I know my morning DentaStix is coming, I get so excited that I’ll jump for it. A girl has to have something she gets excited about!

Otherwise, I’m an easygoing companion who has happily left most of the puppy craziness behind. I enjoy the simple things—being near my people, having animal friends around, going for walks, and knowing I’m safe and loved. I have so much affection and companionship to give, and I’m ready to spend the years ahead sharing it with a family of my own.

If you’re looking for a sweet, gentle girl who gets along with dogs and cats, has shown a calm nature around visiting children, and will happily make being by your side her favorite part of every day, I might just be your girl.
