Hi folks, my name is Bernie! I’m an 8-year-old male Poodle mix and only weigh 15 lbs. I'm the cutest floof you'll ever meet! Once my hair grows out, my coat may need some brushing, but I don’t shed!

I can be timid at first and hide, but I show my happiness by my tiny tail wag and hops once I’m comfortable. Every morning when foster mom puts her shoes on I know it’s walk time - I absolutely love walks. I do a little dance and turn in circles. I also love cuddles and will lay my head on you - hope you’re ready! I’m great with all dogs, but I’m not one to really play with them. 

I typically start my day by waking up my foster mom around 7 a.m. so I can go potty. I’m pretty good with letting her know when I need to go. I go for a couple of short walks throughout the day and will snooze for the rest of it. In the evenings I’d like belly rubs please, don’t forget it! At night I sleep with my foster mom and do great! 

I’m still working on my basic commands, but I’m great on my leash. When left alone I do have a little bit of anxiety. I will go into my crate when I get scared or feel lonely, but I like the door open. I like to go in on my own terms and prefer to sleep with you at night. Since I’m older, I do need to be let out every 3 hours to avoid any accidents. I do prefer a calmer household, loud younger kiddos would not be ideal for me. 

ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS:
-Stay-at-home parent(s), I need to be let out frequently and I’m anxious when left alone 
- No children under age 6
- Quiet/calm household
