Hello! My name is Benito, and I’m an approximately 2-year-old poodle mix weighing about 20 pounds. I have soft white fur and an easygoing personality to match.

I’m a pretty chill guy who loves relaxing and spending time with my people. I’m happiest lounging nearby, snuggled up next to you for a nap, or hanging out comfortably in my crate while you’re home. Most of my day is spent snoozing, but I also enjoy playing with my doggie siblings and going on little nice walks. Sometimes I’m in the mood to play, and other times I’d much rather curl up for another nap. I’d be happy in a home with another dog or as your one-and-only companion.

My routine is simple and easygoing. I usually wake up around 8 a.m. for breakfast and a nice walk. I’m great on a leash and know that potty time happens outside. After my morning adventures, I’m usually content to nap most of the day until it’s time for another short walk in the afternoon. Dinner is around 5:30 p.m., followed by some relaxing time before one last potty break around 9 p.m. Then it’s off to bed so I can recharge for another cozy day tomorrow.

I’m still learning some basics like “sit” and other fun tricks, but I’m eager to please and happy to learn. Right now, I’m also going through heartworm treatment, so I need a family who can help me rest, recover, and take it easy while I heal.

What I’m really looking for is a calm, loving family who will give me the patience, comfort, and care I need while I recover — and who will appreciate having a sweet little shadow to cuddle beside them. In return, I promise a lifetime of loyalty, snuggles, and a heart absolutely full of love.
