Hello! My name is Barrett, and I’m a charming 1-year-old poodle mix weighing in at 20 lbs. With my scruffy coat full of unique colors and soulful eyes, I turn heads wherever I go. I’m still young, full of playful energy, and bring joy to every room I enter.

I’m a sweet, happy boy who loves to play and explore. While I can be a little timid at first and may shy away from sudden movements or loud noises, I’m learning to trust more each day. Because of this, a home with children 8 and older would be the best fit for me. I adore chasing balls, chewing on toys and bones, zooming around the yard, and wrestling with my foster brother. Cuddling on the couch and sleeping next to you at night are some of my favorite things. I’m friendly, curious, and have a soft spot for watching bugs dance around outside.

I usually start my day around 6 AM with a trip outside, followed by breakfast and some morning playtime. Mid-morning naps are a must, and the rest of the day is filled with toy time, outdoor adventures, and hanging with my foster family. Dinner is around 6 PM, and I enjoy a calm evening before my final potty break around 9 PM, then it's bedtime for a restful night’s sleep.

I'm getting better at being picked up, but it still makes me nervous. I do bark, so a house would be better then an apartment for me! Car rides and leash walking are also a bit scary for me right now. I’m learning basic commands and working hard on building trust. With patience, gentle guidance, and love, I know I’ll get there!

- Fenced in Yard
- Work From Home Parent
- Patience for training and building trust
