Howdy! I’m Bandit! I am about 1 and 1/2 years old and a 26lbs Mini Male Goldendoodle mix! I have a lot of personality so don’t let my size fool you! I love to play with anything that squeaks and no plush toy stands a chance against me! My foster family has a toy bin and I will pull every single toy out before I decide which one to conquer first.
My day starts around 7:30 when my foster mom lets me out of my crate. We go outside and she waits patiently as I circle the yard for the perfect spot. Then I come inside and eat breakfast! Then it’s time for a few plush toys to meet their match followed by a nap. I love to pester my foster siblings but I truly get along with anyone! I eat dinner around 6!
I joined DRR through their Rehome program so it takes me some time to adjust and settle in. I’m still working on a few behavioral traits, some more quirky than others. Outside of plush toys, I don’t chew things I’m not suppose to. I do become very attached to my person so if you leave, I will loudly protest until you return. I’m a great alert dog and will alert you to all the Amazon Drivers and DoorDash Delivers who come to the door! I’m doing really well with potty training if kept on a schedule, but sometimes I decide I need a snack and have to be reminded that I need to finish doo-ing my business and not try to eat it. My foster family is working with me and I’m on a new diet that should help me feel full and get all the nutrients I need. Along with my new food and a calm stable environment, I know I will thrive!
