Hi there! I’m Aveline — but my friends call me Avee — and if you’re looking for a goofy, loyal girl who’ll follow you like a shadow, I might just be your perfect match. I’m one year old, about 50 pounds, and a whole lot of fun wrapped up in a long-legged, happy-hearted package.

Mornings are my favorite — I wake up early, ready to romp with my foster dog siblings and announce (quite enthusiastically!) that it’s time to play. Having another dog buddy around makes me braver and helps me learn the ropes, so I’d really love a forever sibling to show me the way. When I run, I’m all legs and joy, like a baby deer finding her stride.

Once my zoomies are out of the way, I’m happy to nap nearby while my foster mom works. I love snack breaks, and while I’m still learning to enjoy belly rubs, I know I’ll get there with the right person. After dinner, I like to stretch my legs in the backyard — which is why a fenced yard would make me so happy.

Dogs like me don’t come with all the answers — but we come with endless potential. If you’re an experienced dog owner who understands that love sometimes looks like quiet patience and small wins, I promise you: the bond we build will be like nothing else. Giving a dog like me a chance means watching a shy soul slowly unfold, and knowing you made that happen. It means being someone’s first real sense of safety and trust. It means being a hero — not in a big, flashy way, but in the everyday moments that matter most.

I’m still figuring out the leash and can be nervous with storms or loud noises, but I’ve learned my crate and favorite corners are safe spots. With a flexible schedule, the patience to guide me, and the space to run and play, I know I’ll grow into the brave, loving girl I’m meant to be.

- Flexible Schedule
- Patience for Training
