Hi there, world! My name is Apple—like the fruit! But around here, they also call me Sky, because the sky’s the limit for a girl like me. I’m a 2-year-old, 37-pound poodle mix with the softest curls and a heart full of hope. I’ve come a long way on my journey and am discovering just how sweet life can be when you're safe and loved.

I’m a quiet, gentle soul who thrives in calm environments with predictable routines. I do best in a home where someone is around most of the time—whether you’re retired, work from home, or just have a wonderfully flexible schedule. That way, I can follow you around (my favorite hobby!) and feel secure knowing you're close by. I sleep peacefully in my crate at night, which has become my cozy little den, but I’m not a fan of spending long hours in it during the day.

I’m learning new things every day—how to walk on a leash, how to play, and how to trust that the world is a safe place. I’ve got a curious side too, and I like to explore the counters, so a watchful eye and a dog-proof setup are helpful while I continue to learn. I'm still discovering what toys are for, but I love my nighttime treat-chewing routine!

Other friendly pups are a big comfort to me—they help me build confidence and show me how to enjoy the moment. I’d love a calm dog sibling in my forever home. I’m looking for a family without young children, as quiet energy helps me feel at ease and blossom at my own pace.

I know I’m a little different, but my foster family says I’m incredibly special. With time, patience, and love, I’ll continue to grow into the brave and joyful girl I’m meant to be. If you have a peaceful heart and a gentle hand, I just might be your most rewarding companion yet. 💕
