Hello, I’m Andie! I’m a 4-year-old happy-go-lucky female Adoradoodle, and might I add how cute I am! I weigh 26 lbs and will likely shed lightly once my hair is grown out.
I’m pretty laid back and really enjoying cuddle time with my foster parents. I do great with other doggies, I know it’s important for socialization, but I do prefer my humans. If you leave the house, I’ll greet you every time with a tail wag and happy dance!
My day is what you make of it! Spending time with my humans is the most fun for me. Of course it would be great if you were near me all the time, but I understand if you need to leave the house occasionally. I’ll sit quietly and patiently wait for your return. At night I prefer to sleep in your bed and share your pillow. However, my cat foster sibling likes that spot too so I usually settle for sleeping at the foot of the bed.
I’m still learning my leash skills, but busy roads and passing cars really scare me. I do prefer a less busy neighborhood or park. I’m getting used to riding in cars and haven't gotten sick from that yet! At meal time my foster mom lets me eat breakfast in bed until I get comfortable. I only bark when barked at so I’m pretty well mannered. In fact, I’m such a good girl that I don’t need a crate! I’m totally housebroken and hope that my new family has a spot on their couch for me!
ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS:
- Quiet/calm household
- No children under 6, their quick movements and loud voices are a little much for me.
- Occasional socializing with some four-legged friends would be great
- Small yard or frequent walks for exercise and potty breaks
