Spirit‘s Story
Spirit is a 2-yr-old, 70-pound Aussiedoodle. Read what his foster has to say about him:
Spirit's story will truly begin when he finds his forever family and is able to share all the love, zest for life, and affection he has to give. Spirit is such a handsome and delightful gentleman. He sports a shiny black coat with white patches and dark brown soulful eyes to swoon over. He absolutely loves to go places. He will ride in your car and gaze out the windows forever, although it is a bit of a challenge to get him out sometimes. He is ok on a leash but could use some training. He has a few tricks up his sleeve, sit ,down and shake. Spirit shares his home with another canine buddie. They play, romp, eat, and sleep kindly with one another. Snack and mealtimes are a breeze as everyone is polite and patient. Never a cross word is exchanged. Spirit will counter surf is food is left out but we are working on correcting this behavior. Spirit has been sleeping in a crate, while he is reluctant to go in , once in he is fine. He never destroys anything and has perfect potty habits. He never fails to greet you when you return. Spirit has proven himself to be a supreme snuggler. He adores belly rubs, ear scratches, and especially curling up in your lap.Spirit likes to be super close to his people and he is a talker and will tell you that he needs more attention, without being annoying. Meeting strangers hasn't been a problem, just a little shy at first but quick to warm up. Spirit is a BIG BOY and absolutely loves children but due to his size might be better for kids 6 and over. He will get mouthy with the kids but never hurts them. I'm sure in just a short time Spirit will fall head over heels in love and be the most loyal, intelligent, enthusiastic, and amusing companion one could ever hope for.
Spirit is fully vaccinated, HW-, sterilized and microchipped.
