Ebony‘s Story

Meet sweet Ebony! This girl is a 5-month old Standard Poodle. She was a shy girl when we first met, but she is becoming more confident and adventurous. Ebony loves to run and play chase. She is a polite toy stealer, she just comes up beside her foster brother and starts to play with his toy and he walks away. She will chew kid toys and shoes, but usually drops them quickly when asked. She loves to snuggle with people, and has been great with my kids (age2 & 7). She goes to her crate when asked, but does expect her treat for doing it! She does bark a little once in, but calms down after a minute. She has met a few dogs out in public and did fine, but does remain a little shy. She’s never met a cat. She’ll just need more practice meeting fellow fur friends. She is learning to walk(prance!) on a leash with encouragement. Potty training is her biggest difficulty, so she’ll need you to be diligent with taking her out and making sure she goes potty outside instead of just playing. Car rides are scary for her, but she is improving at that as well. Ebony is a fun pup looking for a loving active family to help her blossom!

Ebony is fully vaccinated, HW-, sterilized and microchipped.
