Hi, I’m Nyra, but my friends call me Bae Bae! I’m an adorable 6-month-old, 10-pound poodle mix with a little body, a big personality, and so much love to give. I was found wandering the streets, and while no one knows exactly what my life looked like before, I haven’t let my rough start dim my happy spirit. I’m still full of love, curiosity, and plenty of tail wags.

I can be a little shy when I first meet new people, so I may need a minute (and maybe a treat or two) to decide you’re my friend. Once I do, my sweet and affectionate side comes right out. I love being close to my people and am happiest when I get to be part of whatever you’re doing.

I’m a playful girl who loves chasing balls, going on little walks, riding in the car to explore, and keeping a very important watch for squirrels in the backyard. I also really love other dogs! I’m comfortable with little dogs right away, and while bigger dogs can take me a little longer to warm up to, once I know them, we can be friends. I truly thrive with canine companionship, so a home with a doggy sibling would be my dream. Having a built-in best friend helps me feel happy and confident.

I’m already settling into a nice routine. I eat two meals a day, follow a regular potty schedule, and sleep quietly through the night in my bed or crate. Of course, if you invited me to snuggle up with you instead, I certainly wouldn’t complain!

I’m still learning my commands, but I’m a smart little girl and a quick learner. With some patience, consistency, and love, I know I’ll keep making my family proud.

After being on my own, I’m ready for the best part of my story: a forever family to love, a doggy sibling to play with, and a safe place where I’ll never have to wonder where I belong again. Could that be with you?
