Hi, I’m Marlene!
I’m a 6-year-old, 15-pound poodle mix with a soft, curly coat, soulful eyes, and the cutest little snaggletooth you’ve ever seen.

I may be small, but my heart is huge—and I have so much love to share. I’m a happy, affectionate girl who thrives on being close to my people. Whether you’re relaxing at home or heading out for a short walk, I’m right by your side, ready to join in. When you come through the door, expect a warm welcome full of tail wags and gentle cuddles.

I love lounging outside, quietly watching for squirrels—don’t worry, I’m not much of a barker, just an enthusiastic observer who might give a playful dash when they move! I can be a little unsure of new people, especially men, but once I know you’re kind, I’ll quickly show my sweet and loyal nature.

My days are simple and happy: I eat twice a day (mealtime is the best time!), follow my foster mom around, take naps nearby, and enjoy calm moments outdoors. I’m also potty trained on a consistent schedule, which helps me stay comfortable and confident throughout the day. When my foster mom goes out, I stay relaxed in my cozy kitchen space, content to rest until she’s back.

I’m currently going through heartworm treatment and doing wonderfully—I’ve already had my first injection and am healing beautifully. I’m also working on my kennel training; I’ll go in and rest, but I’m still learning to feel comfortable with the door closed. With patience, kindness, and a few treats (my favorite motivator), I’ll get there in no time.

I’m looking for a loving home where I can share my gentle spirit, enjoy cuddles and quiet walks, and be your loyal companion through it all.
