Hi there, future furever family!
I’m Merritt—a 3-year-old mini poodle mix weighing in at about 17 pounds of fluffy fun and affection. I’m a lively little lady with a big heart and an even bigger personality. If you’re looking for a buddy who can keep up on walks but also crash on the couch with you afterward, I’m your girl.

I love being close to my people and my dog friends—whether that means wrestling, exploring, or just snuggling up with my paws wrapped around your wrist (it’s my cutest move, trust me). I’m smart and eager to please, already good on a leash, and learning all about house manners, polite greetings, and indoor voices. I pick up new things quickly—maybe a little too quickly—so you’ll want to keep an eye on me when I’m feeling curious!

I can be shy with new people and a bit jealous when attention isn’t shared, but I warm up fast and love having a “pack.” I’m also working on my independence—learning that it’s okay to take some quiet time too.
If you’re patient, playful, and ready for a loyal little shadow who’ll fill your days with laughter, cuddles, and adventure, I can’t wait to meet you.

ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS:
- Active family
- Calm household
- No apartments
- Fenced-in yard preferred
- Patience for training and daily reinforcement of basic commands and new house rules
- Able to provide mental stimulation (wobble treat toys, Kongs, puzzles, sniff mats, lick mats, etc)
- Preferred to have either another dog sibling OR lots of regular doggie play dates!
