Hi there, I’m Krypto — a 17-pound poodle mix with a heart as big as my curls! I’m about 8 or 9 years young and consider myself a charming little gentleman. I do have a small heart condition, but don’t you worry — I take my medicine like a pro twice a day, no complaints at all.

I’m a simple guy who loves the finer things in life: a soft cooling mat (it feels amazing on my face), a good nap, and keeping foster lady company while she does her chores. I take my role as backyard supervisor seriously and like to patrol the area after breakfast around 8 a.m. — just to make sure everything’s in order. I can use the doggy door, but truth be told, I prefer when my person joins me outside. I love pets, cozy spots, and expressing myself with a joyful “a-wooo!” when the mood strikes.

I’m fully house trained but, as an older fellow, I do best with regular potty breaks and a little patience while I settle into a new home. I’ll go in a crate if needed, but I’ll be honest — it’s not my favorite. I much prefer a quiet room with a comfy bed where I can rest and dream about my forever family.

I get along well with cats and would be happy to share my home with a small or medium-sized dog sibling — but big dogs aren’t really my style.

Evenings mean dinner, meds, and snuggles — usually around 8 p.m., though I’m happy to adjust.
