Hi, I’m Bethpage — petite in size, big on heart, and definitely more snuggles than sand traps. Just like the golf course I’m named after, I might seem a little intimidating at first… but get to know me, and you'll find I’m all soft fur, gentle eyes, and unexpected charm. I’m a 15-pound doodle mix with a fluffy coat made for cuddling and a tender soul that’s just starting to shine.

The world used to feel pretty scary, but thanks to a calm, loving foster home (and a few doggy friends who’ve shown me the ropes), I’m learning that love is safe, toys are fun, and people can be really wonderful. I’d thrive in a home with another sweet, confident pup to cuddle and play with — they help me feel safe and bring out my playful side. I’m still a bit shy when meeting new people, but if you’re patient, gentle, and have a flexible schedule to help me settle in, I’ll be curled up beside you in no time.

I’m working hard on my potty training (doing great!), brushing up on skills like sit and shake, and slowly getting used to leash walks. Rainy days still throw me off a little — dainty paws and puddles don’t always mix — but I’m trying! I’d love a fenced-in yard where I can explore at my own pace without too much pressure. If you’re the kind of person who sees the magic in quiet dogs with soft hearts and silly sock-stealing streaks, I just might be your perfect match.
