Hi, I’m Louie—but around here, my foster toddler calls me Lou Lou, and honestly, I kind of love it. I’m a 2.5-year-old, 35-pound mini-Goldendoodle with a heart as soft as my curls. I’m what you might call a professional companion—wherever you go, I’ll be just a few steps behind, ready to gently nuzzle you for a little affection or sit quietly by your side. I love to be close, and I’m happiest when I’m near my people.

I’ve got a playful streak—especially when the little ones are around. I’m patient and sweet with kids, and while I definitely have bursts of energy (hello, zoomies!), I know when it’s time to settle down. By evening, I’m a snuggly lap dog, curled up on the couch, soaking in the calm and the cuddles. I like a game of fetch, but to be honest, I’m more into the “chase me” part—it’s just more fun to zip around the yard with an audience.

My days start with a tail wag and a warm greeting from my tiny human—being let out of my crate by her is one of my favorite things. After breakfast, I enjoy a nice little walk to greet the day, then I spend most of my time keeping my foster dad company in his office or trailing him as he moves around the house. In the evenings, once the sun sets and dinner’s done, I get another burst of energy and love a bit of playtime before my peaceful bedtime walk.

I really do love my walks, even though I’m still learning not to pull—there’s just so much to sniff and see! I get along well with my foster dog brothers and am friendly with people, though I might be a little cautious when meeting someone new. I just need a moment or two to feel safe. Once I do, I’m all in—loyal, loving, and ready to be your forever Lou Lou.
