Hi there, I’m Fore! I’m an 8-month-old male Poodle mix weighing around 40 pounds. I am just now learning what it means to be a beloved family member — and let me tell you, I’m really starting to like it.

I’m a gentle, soulful pup with a heart that’s slowly blooming. New things still make me a little nervous, but once I feel safe, my sweet spirit shines through. I’m curious, affectionate on my own terms, and find a lot of comfort in the company of other dogs. I’ve never shown an ounce of aggression — just quiet caution — and I’ve been told I’m incredibly easygoing. Watching me build confidence is one of the most rewarding things my foster family says they’ve ever seen.

I love peaceful days lounging with my dog friends, gentle sniff walks in the backyard, and curling up nearby for a cozy nap. I eat well, sleep soundly in my crate at night, and I’m starting to understand the rhythm of daily life. Familiar routines make me feel safe, and I really thrive in a calm, predictable home.

I’m still learning that the world doesn’t have to be scary — that leashes are okay, people can be kind, and love can be soft and steady. Sudden movements and loud noises startle me, so I’ll need a patient family willing to take things slow. I’m crate trained and doing great with potty training, especially when kept on a consistent schedule.

If you have a calm home, a gentle heart, and maybe a confident dog buddy for me to learn from — I just might be your perfect match. I’m ready to keep blooming with the right people by my side.

- Another Dog Sibling would be preferred
- Active family
- No Apartments
- Fenced in Yard
- Work From Home Parent or Someone with a Flexible Schedule
- Patience for Training and understanding that Fore will need time to decompress, build trust, and understand that this will be his forever home.
