Hi, I’m Maci — a one-year-old goldendoodle with a soft coat, a soft heart, and a strong love for people. I weigh about 48 pounds and I’m what you’d call a true companion dog. I don’t need to be the center of attention, but I do want to be near the action — preferably somewhere I can keep my eyes on you. I’m friendly, gentle, and always happy to tag along with whatever you’re doing. Wherever you are, that’s exactly where I want to be.

I don’t bark much, and I’ve got pretty good manners — no jumping on people or destroying things (unless you count the occasional shoe that looks just a little too much like a toy… I’m working on it!). When I’m excited, I do this happy little dance where I zoom in circles around you — it’s kind of my signature move. I’m great with kids and love spending time outside. Right now, I’m heartworm positive, so I can’t play with other dogs just yet, but I’ve been having a blast chasing toys and sprinting around the yard. Sometimes I race the bunnies — they always win.

I usually start my day around 8 or 9 AM with breakfast and some fresh air. After that, I like to hang nearby while you go about your day — I’m not needy, but I do love close company. I have lunch midday and enjoy another round of outside time (especially if a game of fetch is involved). Dinner’s around 6 or 7 PM, followed by one last play session and a potty break before bed. My routine is easygoing — I just need space to stretch my legs and people to love on.

I’ve come a long way already — I’m fully potty trained, learning that shoes aren’t toys, and always eager to keep getting better. As I finish up heartworm treatment, I’ll need a calm, safe place to heal. But if you’re looking for a loyal, playful, people-loving girl with a heart full of love… I’ll be right here, waiting.

ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS:
- Another dog sibling would be fun but not required
- Fenced in Yard would be preferred
- Flexible Schedule (I don't like to be alone for too long)
- Keeping up with her heartworm treatment and vet appointments

Maci #2 is fully vaccinated, HW+ (received treatment), sterilized and microchipped.
