Hi there! My name is Eloise—though my foster family calls me Ellie, and I think it suits me just fine. I’m a dainty little adoradoodle mix, around 3 to 5 years old and just 10 pounds, but don’t let my size fool you—I’ve got a big heart and a quiet kind of strength. I came from South Texas with a surprise of my own… five puppies on the way! I took my mama role seriously, and now that my pups are growing up, I’m starting to rediscover who I am outside of motherhood.

I’m gentle and observant, and while I can be a bit shy at first, I’m deeply loyal once I trust you. These days, I’ve discovered that there’s nowhere I’d rather be than curled up in a warm lap. I’m a total cuddlebug—quiet, soft, and happiest when I’m snuggled close to my person. I may not make a lot of noise, but I’ll speak volumes just by resting my head on your leg and letting out a content little sigh.

I do best in calm, quiet spaces and tend to spend my day lounging in a cozy corner, keeping an eye on my people. My routine is simple: morning potty break, breakfast, some relaxing while my foster family starts their day, and a few short outdoor breaks throughout. Evenings are for winding down and enjoying the quiet presence of my humans.

Right now, I’m still adjusting to life outside of mom duty and can be a bit protective, especially around other dogs. I tolerate them, but I’d really prefer a home where I can be the only pet and not have to share your love or attention. I’m not aggressive—I just feel safer when it’s calm and all the love is just between us.
