Hi, I’m Gin—and just look at how cute and fluffy I am!
I’m a 13-week-old, 4 lb. female poodle mix.
I love being the boss and stealing toys from my sister (don’t tell her I said that!). I’m a brave little pup who enjoys meeting new people—big and small. I also adore the big dog in my foster home and try to get him to play with me, even though he’s not all that interested. I haven’t had much experience with cats yet, but I’m super curious about the neighbor’s outdoor kitty.
I’m a good eater and absolutely love treats and chew sticks!
Since I’m still young, I do best with a consistent schedule and someone who can be home with me a lot. I wake up around 7:30 AM and go potty right away when my foster mom takes me outside. I eat three times a day, have fun play sessions that last about 30 minutes, then it’s time to go out and potty again. After that, I usually need a nap—puppy life is exhausting! I’m ready for bed between 9:30–10:00 PM and sleep all night long in my crate.
I’m still working on remembering that pottying only happens outside. Sometimes I get so distracted sniffing and playing that I forget what I’m out there for—even after 30+ minutes! I do much better when my foster mom keeps things boring outside and gives me a treat right after I potty. I never potty in my crate though—I'm very good about that!
Like most puppies, if you leave things within my reach, I’ll probably chew them—so keep those shoes and cords out of my way!
