Hey there, I’m Bowtie — but my friends call me Bowie. 🎩✨ I’m a dashing 63lb black-and-white doodle rocking a permanent tux. At about 18 months old, I’m still a pup at heart, but I’ve got a chill, gentle vibe. I’m smart, sensitive, and eager to learn with patience and praise.
This whole “safe home” thing is new to me, but I’m catching on fast. I’ve got friendly eyes, a soft, shed-free wavy coat, and a laid-back energy that puts people at ease. I take my time warming up, but once I do, my sweet and silly side shines through.
I’m crate-trained, potty-trained, and know commands like my name, “good boy,” “come,” “kennel,” “go to sleep,” and “let’s eat.” I’m still learning “sit” when I feel comfortable. I walk well on a leash and would thrive with a calm, confident dog buddy to show me the ropes.
My days start with early potty breaks and breakfast al fresco with my foster bro, followed by morning naps. I signal when I need to go out and enjoy playtime, though I’m still figuring out roughhousing. I love stuffies and benebones—especially hoarding them in my crate—but I share nicely.
Our human has friends over, including kids. I prefer calm energy but don’t mind the action, especially when a gentle girl brushes my coat—I love it! We take rides to parks and patios for pup cups and ice cream, and I like resting under the table during outings. Evenings are for dinner, outdoor lounging, and early bedtime. I sleep through the night, dreaming of a forever home.
I’m not a wild pup—I’m more of a loyal companion. I’m looking for a patient, loving human who understands I’m still learning. I may chew a TV remote or two, so tidy homes and good toys are best. I’ll blossom with kindness, structure, and time.
Dogs like me don’t come with all the answers — but we come with endless potential. If you’re an experienced dog owner who understands that love sometimes looks like quiet patience and small wins, I promise you: the bond we build will be like nothing else.
Giving a dog like me a chance means watching a shy soul slowly unfold, and knowing you made that happen. It means being someone’s first real sense of safety and trust. It means being a hero — not in a big, flashy way, but in the everyday moments that matter most.
