Hi there, I’m Udon—though my foster mom affectionately calls me Chicken Noodle. I’m a 2-year-old, 60-pound poodle mix with the heart of a gentle old soul and the chill of a Sunday afternoon. If you’re looking for a laid-back companion, I just might be your guy.

I’m the definition of low-key. Drama-free, toy-neutral, and not one to cling—I’m happy to simply be nearby. I keep a calm presence in the house, quietly following the rhythm of the day. I do take a little time to warm up, but once I trust you, I’ll softly nudge your hand when I think your petting session ended too early.

My routine is delightfully simple. I wake up when you do, take myself out for a quick potty break, and then it’s breakfast followed by a solid nap shift while you work. I'm mostly quiet—unless the delivery driver shows up, in which case I take my role as neighborhood announcer seriously. My favorite part of the day? Our evening walk. It’s my time to stretch my legs, sniff the world, and just enjoy the moment.

I’m still learning a few basic commands, but I’ve already mastered patience, respect, and the art of peaceful companionship. Oh—and full disclosure—I don’t really do jumping, so if we’re headed on a car ride, I’ll need a boost into the backseat.

I’m a shy guy looking for a calm, patient forever home where I can blossom at my own pace. Trust takes time, but once I feel safe, I’ll quietly become your most loyal companion. My ideal family will celebrate the small wins—like a tail wag or a gentle nudge—and let me come out of my shell without pressure.

A quiet home and a secure yard are musts. I prefer to do my business in the yard and save walks for sniffing and exploring. A calm, confident dog friend could be helpful, but I’m also content on my own. Older, respectful kids are okay if they understand I do best when given space to come to them.
