Hi, I’m Kiwi — a 3-year-old, 45-pound Poodle Mix with a gentle heart and the softest curls. I’m a sweet, sensitive soul who’s slowly learning that the world isn’t such a scary place after all. If you’re the kind of human who believes in second chances and slow mornings, we just might be a perfect match.

I start off a little shy, but give me time and I’ll be nudging your hand for head scratches, curling up near your feet, and following you around just to be close. I love routine — it makes me feel safe — and I’m a great sleeper through the night (though I’ve been known to sneak into the big bed if I get the chance!). My favorite part of the day? Breakfast, some yard time, and winding down after dinner with one last sniff around outside.

I’m still figuring out this whole leash thing — it’s new and a little scary, but I’m trying. Because of my past, sudden movements and loud noises can make me nervous, so I’d thrive in a calm, peaceful home with a patient human who can help me continue to build confidence. A fenced-in yard would be ideal for me while I work on my leash skills at my own pace.

I don’t need a loud or busy life — just a safe space, a steady routine, and someone who’s home often enough to remind me I’m not alone anymore. If you’ve got a gentle heart, a quiet home, and the time to help a sweet boy bloom, I’d love to be yours.
