Hi! I’m Jupiter! But my foster family also calls me Joops or Jupy, and I happily answer to all of them. I’m a 1.5-year-old, 70-pound poodle full of love, energy, and just the right amount of goofiness. I’m strong, sweet, and always ready to play—sounds like the perfect combo, right? I love meeting new people (big and small) and other dogs, and I thrive in an active home where I can run, explore, and be part of all the fun. Fetch is my absolute favorite game, and I’ll happily chase a ball or hop around with my foster brother. I also love chew toys, working on my commands, and relaxing in my kennel. Oh, and when it’s mealtime? I’m all ears—just don’t expect me to share my dinner!

My day starts bright and early around 6-7 AM when I wake up ready to greet my humans. First things first—I go potty outside like the good boy I am, then I kennel up for breakfast (sometimes I even open the kennel door myself!). After breakfast, I go for a walk with my foster brother, then we zoom around the yard playing fetch or chasing each other. I eat dinner in my kennel around 5 PM and wind down for the night by 9 PM. When it’s bedtime, I snuggle up in my kennel with my perfectly fluffed blanket and sleep soundly until morning.

I’m still working on a few things, but I’m a smart guy and eager to learn! I’ve already mastered sit, down, leave it, place, shake, and kennel up. I do get REALLY excited when I see new people or dogs on walks, and I can’t help but hop around—I just love making new friends! I’m also learning not to pull on the leash and to keep all four paws on the ground when I smell something amazing (which, let’s be honest, happens a lot!). My nose sometimes gets a little too close to the kitchen counter, but can you blame me? With a little more practice, I’ll be the perfect adventure buddy and best friend. Could that be with you?

- Patience for Training
