Heinz‘s Story

❤️HEINZ is Available❤️

Please READ the bio and adoption requirements first to make sure you are a perfect fit BEFORE APPLYING.

Hey there, I’m Heinz! I’m a 42 lb., almost 6-month-old schnauzer-poodle mix with a big heart, big paws, and an even bigger personality! I may look like a grown-up, but don’t let my size fool you—I’m still a goofy, bouncy puppy learning the ropes. I’m working on getting stronger every day (puppy push-ups, anyone?), and I love training sessions, especially when treats are involved. I already know sit, up, down, and come, and I’m excited to keep adding to my list of skills. Potty training? Getting there! I just need a consistent schedule and some reminders. My foster mom calls me a Velcro puppy because if you’re around, you better believe I’ll be right by your side!

I’m a champion sleeper, snoozing through the night from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. with just one quick potty break. My mornings start with breakfast (the best part of the day!), followed by some playtime outside and training. I like to take my foster mom’s job very seriously, so I spend a good chunk of the day napping by her while she works—supervising is exhausting! I go outside every couple of hours, and when the kids come home, that’s when the real fun begins! I love zooming around, playing with my foster dog siblings, and soaking up all the attention. My “witching hour” hits around 7 p.m., when I get a case of the zoomies and become a hilarious, floppy ball of energy. Then it’s time to wind down, snuggle up, and call it a night.

I’m the perfect mix of playful and cuddly—one minute I’m chasing a ball, the next I’m flopping onto my back for belly rubs. But I’ll be honest, I don’t always realize how big I am! I love kids, but I sometimes get too excited and forget my manners, so I’d do best in a home without small children or with a family committed to helping me with my training (I promise I’m a fast learner!). I’m also still figuring out leash walking, so I need someone patient to help me perfect my strut.

If you’re looking for a best buddy who will make you laugh, cuddle you endlessly, and always be up for an adventure, I’m your guy! I’d love a home with another dog to help me learn the ropes, plenty of belly rubs, and a family that will help me become the best boy I can be. Could that be you? I can’t wait to meet my forever people!
