HOWDY!!!! I’m Grey, a 2-year-old, 70-pound poodle mix with a big heart and an even bigger personality. I’m playful, affectionate, and always curious about what’s going on around me. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will follow you from room to room (yes, even the bathroom), I’m your guy! I have plenty of energy and love to run, but I also enjoy lazy moments and snuggling up at bedtime. People always compliment my soulful, human-like eyes—maybe we can have a staring contest?
I adore people of all ages and other dogs, especially smaller ones, and I love running freely at the dog park. I’m always eager for attention, love to explore new scents, and will even challenge you to a staring contest. Car rides are exciting, and I have a blast playing with my favorite toys - especially bones and squeaky toys without stuffing. I’d thrive in an active family with a flexible schedule, a backyard, and ideally another dog to play with. And of course, I absolutely love having pumpkin and yogurt on my kibble!
I start my day around 7 AM with a potty break and a quick walk before my foster mom gets ready for work. After that, I eat breakfast and settle in for the morning. Around lunchtime, I go outside again for another potty break, sometimes followed by a short walk. In the afternoon, I usually nap, often in my crate if my foster mom is at work. When she gets home, I’m full of energy and ready to go outside for a walk and playtime - I especially love to run! After burning off some energy, I have dinner and begin winding down for the night. Before bedtime, I go outside one last time around 8:30-9 PM.
I am fully potty trained and comfortable in my crate - I don’t mind being in there. However, if left alone outside my crate, I’ve been known to jump on tables and pull things down. I’m still working on my leash manners; sometimes, I grab the leash, but I’ll drop it when told “No”. I’m a smart pup who knows how to sit and respond to my name, and I’m continuing to learn commands like “stay”, “down”, and “here” for recall. I’m eager to keep learning and improving! I’m currently recovering from my neuter surgery so I have been wearing a cone and have had to lay low. I can’t wait to be fully healed so I can go on long walks and run / play outside with other dogs.
