Hello, there I'm Shirley! I’m a lovable 2-year-old Doodle mix, tipping the scales at 45 pounds of pure sweetness! Life has given me a rough start, but I’m on a wonderful journey of learning to be the playful pup I was meant to be. Stuffed animals and chew toys are my absolute favorites—I carry them around like my little treasures and even discovered the joy of fetch!

Cuddling is one of my favorite pastimes, and I thrive on affection from my foster family, including the kids. I adore other dogs and would be thrilled to have a furry sibling to romp around with! Cats? They seem like fun too! I’m learning to trust humans and soak up all the love and care I can get, and I can’t wait to find my forever home that will embrace my playful spirit.

My day starts bright and early at 6 AM, when the house begins to stir. I love my morning routine of playing outside, taking care of my business, and enjoying leisurely walks. I’m a bit of a grazer when it comes to breakfast, so I might skip it for a while. My foster dad keeps me company while he works, and I don’t mind going into my crate for short errands—just toss in a treat before you go, pretty please! I’m working on my basic skills like sitting and staying, and I know I’ll master them in no time, especially with a few tasty treats to motivate me!

ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have another dog sibling
- Children 6 and up
- Active family
- Calm household
- Fenced yard
- Preferably a work-from-home parent or someone who isn’t away for more than 8 hours a day, as I can get anxious when left alone for too long.
