Hi there! I’m Ritter, a 6-month-old neutered male Dane Doodle, weighing in at 53 pounds. I might look full-grown, but don’t be fooled—I’m still a playful pup figuring out this big world. 🐾

I’ve got the softest, fluffiest hair, and trust me, you’ll love giving me belly rubs—they’re my absolute favorite! I love playing chase, and I’m starting to get pretty good at fetch. I’ll even steal all the toys from my foster brother and wrestle with him. 🎾 I can sit pretty, come when called, and I’m super curious—I love using puzzle feeders. Oh, and playing in the hose spray? So fun! 💦

When it comes to my crate, I’m a superstar. I don’t whine and only bark if my foster brother has a treat that I don’t—seconds, please! 😋 My day starts around 6 AM with a potty break and breakfast, then some playtime before I hang out in my crate while the kids go to school. I get lots of outside time and cuddles, and after dinner at 6 PM, I wind down for the night. By 10 PM, I’m happily snoozing in my crate. 💤

I’m newly potty trained, so I might need a little time to adjust in a new home, but I’m super smart and will get the hang of things fast. I do get a bit mouthy, but I’m learning to grab a toy instead. 🧸 The leash used to scare me, but now I walk calmly beside my foster parents, exploring the world without pulling or barking.

I’m a big lovable guy ready to find my forever family—let’s grow up together! ❤️

ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS:
- No Little Humans: While I love kids, I’m looking for a home with children over 8. I’m a professional tail wagger who needs a little extra space to play!
- Active Family: If your idea of a fun day involves couch surfing, we might not be a match. I need a pack ready for adventures—let's run, fetch, and maybe chase a squirrel or two!
- No Apartment Living: My zoomies need space! If your home shares walls, I might just get a little too barky. A fenced-in yard? Now that's my kind of playground!
- Human Home Office: I need a human working from home while I perfect my potty training skills. Who else will reward me for my paw-some efforts?
