Hey there! 🐾 I’m Monterey, one of Myrtle’s adorable beach themed babies born right here in the rescue! 🏖️ I’m an 8-week-old black and white poodle mix, weighing a cute 5-10 lbs. My foster humans say I’m a total sweetheart—I get along with everyone and love playing outside in the sprinkler! 💦 I’m a fast learner and can’t wait to snuggle up with my forever humans. 🥰

My day starts early at 5 am with breakfast and some sleepy cuddles. 😴 Then it’s nap time until 10 am when I wake up for another meal and backyard adventures. 🌳 After a fun morning, I take another nap until my tummy tells me it’s 2 pm—time for more food and playtime outside! 🍗 My foster mom keeps me hydrated with sprinkler play, which I adore. Afternoon play leads to a much-needed nap, and then it’s dinner at 7 pm followed by evening play sessions and lots of cuddles, indoor play, and chew toys until bedtime. 🌙 I’m a pro at sleeping through the night!

I’m still learning the ropes of being a big dog, but hey, I’ve only been around for 8 weeks! 🐶 I’m working on potty training and using the doggy door like a champ. With some patience and training, I’ll master it in no time. I might not signal when I need to go out yet, but with a routine, I’ll catch on quickly! 🐾
