Hi! My name is Fluffy. I'm a 4-year-old Male 15-lb Poodle mix. As people say good things come in small packages, I am an energetic and playful pup who also loves to cuddle, give kisses and has mastered the doodle side eye.

I follow my foster parents everywhere in the house and prefer to be in the same room or from a distance that I can see them. I love playing fetch - seriously, throw a ball or a plushie, I’ll bring it back every time. Crate is my safe space that I stay in when my foster parents are out running errands. I love everyone but can be timid with strangers coming to the house, more towards men, I may bark to alert you but all it takes is one pet and I’m ready to be friends. I’m vocal and sensitive to noise so a calm household is preferable.

My mornings start around 6am. After enjoying a delicious breakfast, my foster parents take me out for a 30-min walk, then back home I’m ready for a nap. While my foster parents are working, I’m happily staying close by napping or playing with toys myself while keeping an eye on them making sure they are working 😄. I love going outside to sunbathe and run around around with my foster sister. Dinner is served at 6pm, followed with a walk when it cools down. Evenings can be play time or snuggle times on the couch if you let me. Around 10pm, I’ll remind you it’s bedtime by marching to the crate. I sleep better when I know you’re close so if you can have my crate in your bedroom, I’m happily snoozing until you wake up.

I am working on my leash manner but doing well until I see another dog or a bunny or squirrel. I’m mostly house trained; however, due to my history as a stray, I’m a bit insecure and still have the habits of marking in a new environment. My foster mom said once I settled in I don’t do that anymore. I only know basic commands like sit and come but since I’m super smart and aim to please, I can learn fast.
