I’m Ollie and I’m a beautiful 55-pound Male Goldendoodle with a reddish-brown coat! I've been mistaken for an Irishdoodle due to my coloring! I had a great, loving home but due to serious health issues in the family, I was alone for long periods of time and they were not able to keep me. I’m a more mature guy, just turned 7, but you would never know it! Being an older guy has it’s advantages because I have great manners! I’m house-trained and have never had an accident in my foster mom’s home since the day I arrived. I’m a calm guy but still enjoy playing with toys, especially a game of tug of war with my people. I get along well with my foster siblings although they’re not very playful. I think I would enjoy a little playtime if a sibling were up for it but I’d be fine as an only dog, too.

I'm really easy going but do enjoy a 1 or 2 mile walk in the morning depending on how hot it is! I’m sure I’d like another walk in the evening once it gets a little cooler. However, if that doesn’t fit your schedule, I’m fine without it! I do get excited when I see other dogs while on my walks, but only because I want to make new friends! While in the house, I love hanging out wherever my foster mom is and follow her wherever she goes. If she’s not at home, my foster dad will do! Loud thunderstorms kind of scare me but I usually just bark once or twice and then quietly go hang out in a small area like the bathroom to wait it out.

I would make a great companion for a work-at-home person because I’ll keep you company without distracting you by wanting to constantly play. I’m fine when left alone in the house when everyone leaves but I’d love to have a home where my people are home more often than not! I’ve been told I’m the sweetest guy and am friendly to everyone.
