Hello! My name is Kekoa! I’m a 1 year old male labradoodle, weigh about 45 pounds, and I am SO excited to meet you!

Did I mention I’m excited? Ok well maybe not ALL the time but I’m 1 year old so I’m absolutely full of puppy energy. I love pretty much everything. People, other dogs, running around outside… you name it, I’m down. I’m one happy and energetic pup. I love people and playmates so having a house where I can direct that energy appropriately would be great for me. Oh and treats. I LOVE TREATS!

I wake up for breakfast usually around 6:30. I may learn to be more flexible here but I definitely wake my foster parents up if they aren’t up already. I just get hungry. I go outside, handle my business, play with my foster brother, then I hang out in my crate while my foster dad works. For all that puppy energy I am WONDERFUL in my crate and don’t make a peep (unless he leaves the room and he hasn’t said bye to me and I think he’s leaving me). When he’s done working it’s outside for another hour or so of play time, then inside for dinner and more chill time before bed.

My foster parents say I’m going to be such a wonderful dog for someone. I have a very sweet and loving disposition, it’s just when I get out of my crate the energy is a lot. I’m learning not to jump and to be less mouthy, I promise to keep working on it. It helps to redirect me and I’m learning to just roll over for belly rubs instead (man those are great!). I’m potty trained with no accidents in house, do great in my crate, I play well with people and dogs, and I ride well in cars. Once I get a handle on this puppy energy I’m going to be a DREAM.

- Work From Home Parent
- Flexible Schedule
- Patience for puppy Training
