Hello world, my name is Vanilla and I am searching for my forever home!

My story is pretty cool....are you ready? I got super sick with Parvo and was brought to a strange place to help me feel better. Because my care was going to cost a lot of money, I was released to Doodle Rock Rescue. I fought Parvo and won! It wasn’t easy. After a hospital stay, my foster mom had to quarantine me and make sure I was all better before I got to be a puppy. But here I am…healthy, happy, fully vaccinated, and ready for my new family!

Let me tell you a little about myself. I am a petite girl, weighing only 8lbs. I turned 6 months old on April 15th and I am still a petite girl. They say I am a miniature doodle mix, but it doesn’t really matter, because I am super cute!

My foster mom says I have the sweetest eyes and the most boop-worthy nose that makes my face super adorable. I love attention. I love when kids pet me and play with me. I love other dogs, as long as they aren’t too big (like I said, I’m a petite girl!) I don’t know about cats, but they are similar in size as me, so maybe we would get along.

My day starts with lots of excitement when I see my humans and they let me out to potty and run around. Then I eat my breakfast and take a good nap. I have to go out several times a day because I am still potty training. In between napping and going out to potty, I love to play with toys. At the end of the day, I eat my dinner, go out to potty one more time, and then sleep soundly in my crate with my blanky.

I’m forever grateful that Doodle Rock Rescue intervened and helped me regain my health. Now, I am ready to be someone’s best friend, your little shadow, your lap baby.
