Hi, my name is Bruno or "Bru" as my foster mom likes to call me! I'm a 2 year old male poodle mix and weigh about 54 lbs.
I am a silly boy and LOVE throwing toys around in the air, playing tug of war, wrestling with my foster brother, and rolling tennis balls around. Even though I have puppy energy that I like to get out by playing hard, there is nothing I love more than cuddling up with my humans. I like to get snuggled up on the couch or in bed right next to them and get lots of pets.
Right now, I go on about four walks a day (early morning, lunch time, after work and before bed). Right after I get my breakfast, it's it's play time for me and my foster brother and we wrestle for a bit to get our morning energy out. The middle of the day is for napping on the couch and then after my foster mom gets done with work, we enjoy a walk and more play time! After dinner, I get some snuggles in with my foster mom and then like to play a bit more with my foster brother before bedtime. I love my crate and am fine sleeping there, but would love to be in bed with my humans even more at night!
I'm still working on gaining some weight, so I've been getting extra food and treats during the day. My skin has been really itchy due to allergies, so I take Benedryl to help. I'm a smart boy and know basic commands, but could use some additional reinforcement to make them stick. I can walk well on a leash, but I do get excited to see other people and dogs and cry a bit.
