Hi, I’m Sailor! I’m a female Adoradoodle and I’m a little over a year old. I was found roaming near the highway, and had been living outside for a while. I was starving, underweight, and desperate for someone to take me in; fast forward, I am now healthy and weigh almost 49lbs!

While I am mixed with poodle, I do shed, but my foster mom says that won’t matter to the right family! Getting my hair brushed is one of my favorite activities. I’ll even lift up my arms and legs for you! With all that I have been through, I never lost my trust in humans. I love attention from anyone that will scratch my neck or booty! Guess what, I got to go to work one day and loved meeting everyone at the office. I'm just the happiness girl!

Food is very important to me. Breakfast and dinner are my favorite times of day! I wake up between 6-7am to potty and eat and then come back in for cuddles. During the day, it's eat, play, sleep on repeat! After dinner, we will play ball in the backyard, or go on a walk after dinner. I don’t mind the leash, but sometimes I try to dart if I see a squirrel or a rogue leaf blowing by!

I still act like a puppy sometimes, but I’m eager to learn. I’m working up to being a complete angel while left unattended, but you might want to keep me in the crate while you run errands. Overall, I’m well behaved, but I do have my special vices—shoes and rugs and my tail, I can chase that for hours! My foster parents have been redirecting me to toys every time I take something I’m not supposed to, so I’m learning and getting better. While I’m friendly with fur siblings, I am protective of my food due to not always having it in the past.

I’m looking for a family that is patient and kind! I would work best with a confident and playful dog sibling. *They must love to play wrestle!* Some older dogs tend to get a bit annoyed with my rowdiness. I’m still learning personal space.. so I will lay, flop, and waller all over you for cuddles and love!

ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS:
- Home with fenced yard
- At least one stay-at-home/work-from-home parent
- Active family to exercise all of my energy
- Confident, playful, dog sibling to follow around and learn from. No “free-feed” homes where food is left out for other pets. Must eat in a separate area to avoid conflict.
