Hi! I’m Bootsie. I’m a 5-year-old Female Goldendoodle with Red wavy hair (when I have hair) and weigh 65lbs.

I am sweet and love to have my foster mom tell me how pretty I am! Soft seats are the best, and I am just a lapdog despite my size. I’m very chill unless something fun is going on. I am quietly in charge but starting to figure out that if I follow basic commands, I will get a treat. I love playing with the water hose- it’s a fun activity to cool off with after my sunbathing. I will lay outside in the grass forever but left for too long I will dig. When my foster puts me to bed, I will go into my crate but not by myself. I’m trying to see if she will let me stay with her. If I hear you are still awake, I will bark as I think I’m missing out on something fun. But I do calm down and will only make noise in the morning when I need to go out.

I start my day when my foster mom wakes up around 6:30am. She lets us outside to potty and gives me a treat when I come in and sit like I’m asked to. I get 2 cups of food in the morning and every night. I don’t eat all my food at once as I prefer to have small meals through the day. During the day I like to snooze in the chair in my foster mom’s office. We go out to potty around lunchtime and then back to work until the end of the day. I love chewing on Kongs, bones or balls to stay busy. I wasn’t in the house a lot before so I’m still learning basic manners and not to jump on the kitchen counters. I’m off to bed around 10pm, sometimes with my foster mom if I’ve been really good!

I’m still working on my basic commands (I don’t always care that my foster mom has a treat, I would rather do what I want.) I do like being outside in the sun, but will dig if left for too long.

- Must have another dog sibling
- Good with kids
- Stay-at-home parent is ideal
- Fenced Yard
