Hi! My name is Banner, like the Star Spangled Banner! I am a 12-week-old, Male Goldendoodle. But, don’t let the word "golden" fool you. I have the most beautiful chocolate brown fur with human like eyes that will melt anyone’s heart. I am a ball of fluff but I weigh about 16lbs. I am a growing pup who loves to eat!
I am full of love! I love every person I meet. My foster mom says I am a super smart boy with a lot of puppy energy. I sleep very well and love being where the action is. but I sleep very well! I'll fit right into an active family who will shower me with kisses, hugs, and treats. I love my toys and bark at them when I play with them. I only bark when I am having fun and I never growl. I don’t think I have a mean bone in my body and I love being held like a little baby!
My foster mom wakes me up around 7am. I immediately go outside and go potty. I come back in and have my breakfast, and then we have morning outside time before it gets too hot. My foster mom has picked up on the fact that I do not like the heat or full sun. I like to go potty in the shade. So, when it’s super hot and sunny my foster mom really has to remind me that I need to do my business. I usually take a morning nap and then have lunch at 12:30pm. I go potty after that and then I play with my toys and nap again. My foster mom takes me outside many times a day so I can work on being fully potty trained. I am still a puppy and need constant reminders and a watchful eye. I have dinner at 5:30pm and then my foster family likes to keep me up and play, play, play till I am ready for bed at 9:30pm. My foster mom puts me in my kennel and I go right to sleep without a peep. Then I do it all again the next day!
I'm really doing well on potty training but still haven’t figured out how to ask my mom how to be let outside. Sometimes I have an accident, but for a 12 week puppy my mom says it’s ok to still be working on my potty training. When you take me outside, I know I am supposed to do my business outside. I also need to be reminded that sometimes my puppy teeth hurt. I get excited and like to jump on my foster family and nip at their clothes. I'm working on it! Honestly, my foster mom says she has never seen such a good, smart, and handsome puppy before. Okay, maybe I said the handsome part, but she knows it's true!
