Hi, my name is Zorro and I am a 2-year-old, 63lb labradoodle mix. I have a soft and beautiful black coat that I inherited from the lab side of me, which means I do shed.

I am an energetic boy who loves daily walks and outdoor romps. But my favorite thing is being with my people. I want to be with my foster family always, and will sit as close to my foster mom as possible just so I can touch her and always be near her. I am the sweetest boy who just wants to be loved. I do get anxious when strangers come over, or when I see a dog that is more dominant than me (which is most dogs). 

I wake up in the morning, go potty, and eat breakfast around 7AM. After my belly settles, I go on a walk and play in the backyard with my foster fur brothers. In the afternoon, I get as close to my foster mom as possible and take a mid-morning nap while she works. After she’s done with work, I eat and romp around the backyard for a bit before bed. 

I prefer to sleep with my foster family – and will snuggle up as close as possible so that I am always touching them. I’m still working on my leash training, and not jumping up when I get too excited. I am crate trained but I’m not a huge fan of it. I’m working hard to trust people and my surroundings and will need medication to help with my anxiety. I would love a family who is patient and understanding and will work with me to build my trust and confidence – I just want a family to love me, and I’ll do anything to make them happy. It would be awesome if I had a friendly, non-dominant fur brother or sister to play with – but, I am totally fine with having my family all to myself.

- Big, fenced-in yard
- Stay-at-home parents or flexible schedule
- No children under age 6
