My name is Zoey! I am a 1-year-old, 45lbs, Female Bernedoodle “gem” with a beautiful curly coat (no shed) and soft brown eyes, looking for a family to adore.

I am both a calm snuggler and an animated playmate with my humans and other dog friends with slow introductions. I love to give kisses and enjoy letting you pet my face, neck and give belly rubs.

I wake up at 9AM, then out to yard to potty followed by breakfast. I like to practice basic commands (treat motivated) like sit, shake, lie down, stay/come. I’ve learned these pretty well! I’m very smart. My foster mom plays with me awhile, brushes my coat (which I love), and I do like to play in the yard and inside with dogs I’ve been introduced to. I bark and bow to ask them to play (energetically at first, then calmly with rest times.) I love walks, but still learning to heel, wait, stay. My foster mom says I am smart and I catch on quickly. I also love car rides and travel well. Supper is around 6PM followed by a 30-minute walk or yard playtime. I love to cuddle on the couch. I sleep in my crate! PS: I LOVE to watch “Cat TV” videos (of BIRDS ONLY as squirrels and other animals make me bark) on YouTube TV. Will quietly watch it in wonder!

I just get so excited to meet new people that I tend to jump and I can easily be corrected! She never yells or pushes me down with her arms. That just makes me think we’re playing. So with continued guidance I will get better at this. Since I'm a tall girl I tend to want to see what's on the counters, but I am easily corrected. My foster moms says I like to talk aka bark more than I should sometimes, but she redirects my attention by calling me in a gentle high voice to come to her. So with all the said - continued training and patience I am the perfect girl!
