Tuffy‘s Story

Do you LOVE teeny Poodles? Do you LOVE snuggly afternoon naps?

Meet Tuffy!

Tuffy is an adorable 7 year old, 7 lb. little bundle of Poodle joy. He loves to snuggle and play with his toys. But mostly he just wants to cuddle up in your lap.
When Tuff is not enjoying his snuggles, playing fetch with his squeaky toy is his favorite pastime. He walks well on a leash, enjoys being outside with you and other pets, and he loves looking out the window when riding in a car.

Tuffy has been working hard at house training and has mostly mastered it. He is good about notifying his human when he wants to go out but does have an occasional accident. We are also working on crate training; this seems to be a new subject to him and it is definitely not his favorite. It might be beneficially for Tuff to have another small dog in the home to be his role model for learning house rules, good behavior, and provide companionship as well. Growling is his love language, he growls at new people/pets but only until he can get a proper sniff! He rarely barks except to get your attention when he wants to play. Tuffy is calm, well-mannered, and good with other dogs and people. He spends most of his time snuggled up in his doggie bed, blanket, or on your sofa. I would recommend a home with other dogs and perhaps older children. Being the center of a ‘tug of war’ with small children, would be stressful for him. Tuff is showing early signs of cataracts, so you may need to help him find his toy sometimes when playing fetch. Tuffy is such a cutie and so easy to get attach to! Truly perfect mix of playful and cuddly.
