I am a super loyal, 8-10 year-old female Schnauzer mix. I'm about 15 pounds and have so much love to give!

I am a smart lady who loves cuddles, hugs, and receiving love. I like to sit in my foster mom's lap while she works, but I'm totally fine chilling on the sofa as well. I enjoy short walks because this gives me the opportunity to chat with my friends. I am a senior dog, so I prefer a tranquil and peaceful house instead of playing or running around. At night, I like to sleep close to my human, but I can also sleep in my bed. In the mornings, you'll have to wake me up because I love to sleep in.🙂

I like to start my morning with a walk around the block. I am not usually hungry, so I'll eat a snack or handful of food around 10am. I am a picky eater, so you'll have to work with me. During the day, you'll find me sleeping or relaxing in a comfortable spot, but don't forget my mid-day walk please! Need company while you work? I'm your girl! Want a nap? I'm there! Watching TV? I'm the best company! Dinner is around 5-6pm (when I finally get hungry) then I'll lightly nap until it's bed time with you by my side!

I am potty trained, leash trained and I do not shed at all. I am a wonderful and sweet girl, but I do have some medical needs that I’ll need your help with. I have a collapsed disk that will require more specialized care from you. I need help hopping in the car or jumping on/off the sofa or bed. Also, please don't let me jump, run, or go up or down stairs. Although I like other dogs, I am still working on my barking. My foster parents have socialized me with pups more, and I have made great improvements! 💪

Here’s what I’m looking for:
- Work-from-home or retired parents
- No children
- Someone to take me on short walks and everywhere they go
- Calm and quiet home where I can relax
