Hi, my name is Sebastian but my foster parents call me “Kevin”, “Kev” or “Kevie” and I answer to all of these names. I am estimated to be somewhere around 3 to 4 years old but I still act like an energetic puppy. I am a larger sized (and assumed to be Goldendoodle) weighing in at about 72 lbs. However, I identify as a Love-a-doodle!

I was rescued from Tucker creek in rural Oklahoma after being shot. I was injured and defeated when this nice couple found me, and after their Vet recommended that my front right leg be amputated, they contacted Doodle Rock Rescue. Once I was in Dallas, I went to CHEW Animal Hospital, where I had surgery to save my leg and my shattered toes. At this point you can barely tell that I suffered these injuries.

Even though I was shot by a human, I absolutely love every human that I meet. My foster mom says that I have the most loving soul that she has ever met and that I deserve a loving family that appreciates that I don’t hold a grudge. I want to be your shadow and be where you are at all times. My favorite thing to do is lay next to my family in my “bear rug” pose in whatever room that they are in.

I wake up and go potty outside around 7:00 to 7:30 am. I have my breakfast around 8:00 am and then I have dinner around 5:30 to 6:00 pm. I do need occasional potty breaks but I have mastered the doggie door.

I do have a squirrel obsession so I love to play outside, but I will come back in when called. I do get rowdy with my foster brother when there are squirrels involved and we are both trying to be the alpha dog, but I would do fine with non alpha dogs. I get along great with my 3 female foster sisters, but I would also be perfectly fine being an only dog.

ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS:
- Children around 8 or older would be desired.
- Active family would be desired
- No Apartments or shared walls.
- Fenced in Yard
- Work From Home Parent would be ideal
