Sadie‘s Story

Sadie is precious. She is a 2 year old bundle of fun and joy. Sadie is looking for a home where she can bond with her person forever and have consistent love and stability.
Sadie is happy and kind-hearted. She loves, loves, loves. Sadie seems quiet and shy at first, but she's fun and energetic once she gets comfortable with her environment. She's a snuggler, and at 40 lbs, she's a great cuddle bug!

Sadie's favorite spot is sitting right next to her person. Sadie gets quickly attached to her human, and she wants to spend all her time with her people. She will be your shadow all day and just wants to be with her family. Sadie does have a bit of separation anxiety. She would be ideal for someone who is home a lot and can give her the comfort of being around her family most of the time.

Sadie prefers to spend time in the house with her family, but she does like to run! A yard would be great, but she does very well just being walked regularly too. She doesn't care how she gets her exercise, as long as someone is with her. So far, she doesn't like to go into the yard to potty unless she's accompanied by someone for the entire potty break, but she's working on that.

Sadie plays well with other dogs, or she would be just fine as an only dog. She seems more interested in her people than other dogs, but she does well with everyone, human or furry. She's the sweetest. She also does great with kids. Sadie has energy, but isn't wild, which is a great personality for kids.

She knows her basic commands, and she does well with the potty as long as someone goes outside with her. She can stay in a kennel but does tend to bark and dislike the separation. Sleeping at the bottom of the bed is really her preference. Her hair is beautiful, but just a heads up that her shedding level is high... so plan to keep the Roomba running while you and sweet Sadie snuggle!

Sadie does fine in the car. She does get a tad sick on long rides and may need some motion sickness meds if the trip is long.

The ideal home for Sadie is a place where she can attach to one person and have consistent stability with her person. She wants to be with her person and gets very attached to her human. She would prefer someone who is home often as she does not like to be without her person. She likes dogs, kids and a yard, but she would be perfectly suited to be in a place without those as long as she has her person around to love and snuggle. Sadie is just an all-around precious girl. Any family, large or small, would be lucky to have her.
