Hi! My name is Roman and I am a 8 month old Male Standard Poodle, with beautiful, soft non-shedding hair, and I currently weigh 55 pounds.

I am a fun-loving and sweet natured boy, easy going, curious, and have the best temperament! I hate to brag, but I am very smart and so eager to learn new things. I can easily be persuaded to do just about anything if there are treats involved! My 2 great loves in life are eating, and playing - you could say I'm a simple man! I'm a water-loving boy, I LOVE to chase water from the water hose, and jump in swimming pools.

I get up nice and early with my foster dad, eager for breakfast. I might go on a morning walk or run before heading back to nap until the rest of my family wakes up. I'm very good about going potty anytime I go outside, I'm so fast because I know as soon as I'm done it's time to PLAY! I love to wrestle, chase, play tug of war, and run around with my dog friends. I am really good at entertaining myself with slow feeders and bones. I nap throughout the day, and go on another long walk/run in the afternoon, and can't wait until dinner. At night I settle in pretty quickly, I like to sleep on the cold tile floor in the bathroom.

I've grown so much in the last 2 months I sometimes forget how big and clumsy I am! I can be a little too heavy handed for small dogs, a bigger dog who likes to play but can help keep my manners in line would be best. I still need a schedule to maintain my potty training. I've never met a person I didn't love but I am very shy first meeting new dog friends - I warm up quickly but aggressive dogs are very scary!
