Hello there! I’m Duncan, a 1-year-old black poodle mix weighing 43 lbs, with a heart full of love and a spirit as bright as my shiny coat. Once a stray wandering the streets of Arlington, I’ve now found warmth and joy with my incredible foster family. But what I really dream of is a forever home where I can share all my love and playfulness!

I’m a playful little guy who’s always ready for some fun. My favorite game? Tug of war, of course! I’ve got a fierce competitive streak and won’t stop until I’m the victor. Give me a plushie, and I’ll entertain you for hours as I unleash my inner destroyer on it.

My mornings start early around 6:30 AM with a refreshing 30-minute walk alongside my foster mom. After our morning adventure, I enjoy a delicious breakfast before indulging in a well-deserved nap until noon. Since my foster family works from home, I get plenty of chances to stretch my legs, take sunbathing breaks, and soak in all the love.

Despite my boundless puppy energy, I’m learning to be a well-mannered boy on my walks. I can get a bit excited and pull on my leash when something catches my eye, but I’m quick to get back on track with a little guidance. Other dogs make me super excited, and I can’t help but want to say hi from afar. My foster family tells me I’m incredibly smart and a fast learner, and I’m getting better at my leash manners every day.

I’m searching for a forever family who loves to play, cuddle, and enjoy life to the fullest. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will bring endless joy and laughter to your home, I’m your pup. Adopt me, and let’s make every day totally paw-some together!
