Hi, my name is Dolly Parton! I’m a sweet 2-year-old poodle mix, and I’m 48 pounds that will steel your heart. My hair will be very curly when it grows back, but I won't shed!

I’m such a loving girl, and I’ll make you fall in love with me instantly. I love to hold hands, and that’s how I won my foster mom’s heart when she rescued me. I’m still a little bit timid and unsure of new things. I’m still learning to be a dog, so I need a family to make sure that I stay confident in myself. I love toys! I especially like cuddle time and belly rubs. I have a small foster sister and we get along fine. I will push my fosters hand away from petting her to pet me! I like all of the attention and could be just fine as the only dog in my new home!

My day starts when my foster mom does. We usually wake by 6 am during the week and sleep in on the weekends. I head out for a quick potty break. Then its breakfast time and once I eat, I usually play with my toys while my foster mom gets ready for our morning walk. During the day, while my foster mom is at work, I nap in my kennel. In the evening we go on a walk after dinner. I can sleep in my kennel, but I prefer to sleep with my foster mom and she does too!

I am the perfect lady! I am excellent on my leash. I know basic commands- down, sit, stay, and come. I am still learning my size and tend to knock over my foster sister when I’m excited or jump on my foster mom. I tend to be curious when my foster mom has let me out to run quick errands. I counter surfed once, and I always seem to grab a shoe to cuddle with but not chew.

ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS:
- Stay at home adult- I still have some separation anxiety
- Fenced yard
- Active family- I love car rides and being where the action is
