My name is Cornelius and I want to be your new best friend! I'm a 2 year old male mini-poodle and 25 lbs of pure joy! My foster mom sometimes calls me Ziggy because of my squirrel-like tendencies but I also respond to Good Boy and Goodest Boy.

I'm a huge cuddler and love to be pet! My favorite thing to do is lay on the couch while you work. But if I hear a loud noise, I bark. If I hear someone come in, I bark. If we're on a walk and someone is approaching us from behind, I stall. I've been a lot better about socializing but I'm still a bit on guard and will alert you of any changes in our surroundings. You could say I'm a faux guard dog, but I just want to protect you.

My day starts at 7am sharp. I like to go on a short stroll and then come back and have my breakfast. Then I go back to sleep for a couple of hours and maybe watch some TV on the couch. I'm always down for a mid-day walk to catch some sunlight! Then I'll play with all of my toys and maybe wrestle with my blanket. I'm exhausted after that so I'll nap right by your feet until dinner time! After dinner though, I'm full of energy so I love to get riled up and run around outside. After, we can settle down and relax for a quiet evening.

I'm still working on my social skills! My leash training has drastically improved though so walks! I'm working on learning to love my crate. I'll sleep in it but not until after I’ve protested! I would prefer to sleep in your room. I have to stay in the crate when you're gone though, for my safety and the safety of your front door.

ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS:
- Proper Introduction required for all dogs
- House with large yard
- No small children
- Active family
