Charlie‘s Story

Hi! I’m Charlie and as you can tell, I love to cuddle. I am a 10-pound, 1+ year-old Adoradoodle! I have attached myself to my “little” foster mom. She’s about 12 in hooman years and man do I love it when she kisses me and carries me around. She even has this carrier that she takes me in — it is HEAVEN. And guess where I get to sleep at night? In bed with her! I stay right there at her feet all night and then I wake her up in the morning with lots of kisses.

Now, my foster mom has been working on teaching me how to sit. She has these yummy little treats she gives me when I put my bottom on the floor so I’m like hey, seems easy enough! You know what else is easy? This potty training thing. I always go outside to do my business and I even let you know when I need to go by standing and waiting at the door. She’s also trying to help me like my kennel more because let me tell you, I am not the biggest fan of that thing...I tend to get myself worked up (I bark and try to escape). I really don’t need it though, it’s more of a formality...right?

I love to go for walks. I tend to follow behind because I am busy sniffing everything, but that’s ok because that means I don’t pull on the leash at all! Long walks are hard for me though because I get tired. Now, if you want to pick me up and carry me the rest of the way through, I sure don’t mind!

The one thing I’m not very fond of is this thing called a Grandma. There’s one of those where I live right now and I am NOT fond of it. And believe me, I let her know by barking at her. I can tell she wants me to like her, but I just don’t trust her quite yet!

I like to be close to my people the majority of the day, kind of like a cute fluffy shadow. I love to curl up on the bed or couch and just chill-lax. If I’m lucky, I’ll get a belly rub while I’m up there and man do they feel good! So if you’re ready for a chill, easy going, cuddle monster (and don’t have any of those scary grandmas in your house) then I am the guy for you!

Charlie is fully vaccinated, HW-, sterilized and microchipped.
