Chance‘s Story

Schnoodle, Doxiepoo, adoradoodle (poodle mix), only Dr. Doolittle would know what I truly am. My foster mom says who needs a pedigree when I'm so full of sweetness and cuddles. I guess that's why she calls me her sweetheart and little shadow. Doesn't she know a one year old male dog like me needs a tougher name than being called sweetheart, though I am good looking and I do enjoy snuggling on the mini humans laps. Who doesn't enjoy snoozing to Netflix or a good book? Especially after a good game of tug-o-war with the big fur sister. I also like taking over that fur sister's big bed so I can really stretch out whether that dog is already sleeping there or not. Hey that furry mutt doesn't seem to mind if I gather all her toys because I'm good at sharing, gosh one time we even shared an old chewing bone. I do not know why people laugh when I carry around a toy bigger than the size of my head.

Speaking of laughing at me, the other day I was so proud of myself when I learned to bring the ball back and yes, my foster humans were cheering me on, but they also kept laughing and saying something about me having this side ways run when I run back to them. Well they should just try carrying around toys and bones bigger than their heads and see it's not easy.

I'm potty trained and walk on a leash, but I need a bit of work on my basic obedience skills. I'm really not sure why my foster mom sometimes uses the word "hard headed" as I just happen to know what I like. I do enjoy sleeping in my crate at night and am happy to wake you up in the morning (though not too early) with a rousing bark so I can join in on the family activities. I really like to be right in the middle of all family adventures.

I would love to find a forever family that likes to go for walks, run in the yard, and then also likes to snuggle. I mean I like to run and play but enough is enough and there should be more naps and hanging out on laps in this world. It would be good if my forever family also had another dog as I really like to play with a fellow furry dog friend. I've never met a cat, but mini humans are good, and I promise to keep my snoring to a little noise.
